I agree with Scoutmaster - if you're new to GasBuddy, the "Achievements" on the mobile site might provide some excitement and encouragement to post prices, but if you're a "hard-core" user like myself, you would just continue to post even if there were no awards or a point system in place. I really don't care that I'm a Level 4 Reporter or haven't made Level 1 Pioneer yet; I do care about posting accurate prices for others just about everywhere I go, and taking advantage of others' accurate posts for my own benefit.

It would be nice to access these from the full site, but since they deal strictly with posting prices from your phone I can understand whey they are only accessible from the mobile site. Plus, they are virtually meaningless!

"I don't understand why these aren't on the main site. The data is not stored on the phone but on some main site somewhere anyway. I don't see why prices reported from the website should be treated any less deserving of appreciation that prices reported from the app. I also fail to understand why I should lose what I have earned in the iron man or commuter categories if I choose to report prices from the website. "
Thank you Scrapheap - couldn't have said it better myself. I post with both my iPhone and the computer.

See the discussion in this thread - there is a pretty complete list of the awards and what it takes to achieve them.

I use my G2 (Android) exclusively for posting prices: Right now it shows me 42% of the way to Level 2. Since I "achieved" Level 1 on 10/10 by posting 5 consecutive days, having 42% on 10/26 shows that one would need to post 50 consecutive days to get Level 2 for the Iron Man.

Also for the iPhone app but yeah, still don't understand why it is limited to the mobile apps and not available on the main website.
