This may have been brought up before but I would like to see number of stations or number of prices reported. I use the Android app and sometimes I report tons of prices and am curious how many. I know it tracks for the mobile reporting awards but would like to see it on stats.

Thanks

For a long time I have wanted the site to track how many times I have posted each grade of gas and provided an average daily number by both myself and the average GasBuddy user.

I agree there is opportunity for false reporting. But people can do that from computer also. And what about people boosting posts by doing 1..2..3..4..5 in Just for fun? hehe
I know that I will never get anywhere close to top points or consecutive days. But would be curious how I stand on number of valid prices I post or how many different stations, how many states, etc. I was traveling for work the last 6 months and probably reported in 14 states and who knows how many different stations. And I know I hit over 100 stations one day! Benefit of being passenger in back seat on 200 mile trek thru Texas...

Ever since GB came up with their phone app "awards", there has been a rash of people posting prices sight unseen, and making up midgrade/premium prices apparently so they can get these awards faster. Just got one member kicked off the Tucson site, asked the moderator to contact another member to stop (any more misleading posts will be grounds for termination of posting rights), and now watching another member to see if they post misleading mid/premium prices again.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind at all if GB decided to do away with the phone app awards. They may motivate the beginning members to post, but as a 3+ year poster, I couldn't care less that I'm a Level 4 Reporter or not even a Level 1 Pioneer - I just try to post accurate prices every time I'm out on the road.

It would probably be abused by members who treat it as a "highest number wins" game. :-(

Sure, why not?
I know that I have done over 100 in a day, but really curious how many of us addicts are out there. Of course, being the copilot in a car while traveling for work helps!
How about it GB.. Is this something that is in the works?

Why not both? It would be an easy thing to track and would show how much effort a member puts out over and above the points he makes.
