The android app has the ability to "suggest" adding a station to a given location. You can click on all the features a station should have and locate it on the map. At the end, you are told it will be added when somebody can verify the information. This verification seems completely unnecessary and creates a burden on the moderators. Why not take this feature just a little further, allow senior members to add address and cross street information, and add the station to the MSL immediately.

I suggested 1 station on Friday and 4 stations Monday. None of them have been added to the MSL. If I can add a station immediately using the website, why not with the app?

Yeah this feature should be enhanced just a bit to be COMPLETE. No need for approval when we can enter all the required address/location information ourselves.

It seems that given what is already developed, it would be a small step to adding a station to the MSL. Complete access to the MSL would require more drastic changes to the interface.

Let's take this one step further: why not have complete MSL access in the app for senior members? Sometimes when I am at a gas station I will notice the station has an amenity that isn't listed on its profile. It would be so much easier to edit that through the app instead of having to remember to do it when I get home.

Never used the feature because of the shortcomings Scrapheap listed. It's easier via the web site.
