Tokyo...a 14-hour time difference from the east coast (where I live). Oddly I adjusted to the time difference in a snap going there (exhausted after the flight, stayed awake till an early bedtime, and woke up right on Tokyo time), but it took two weeks to adjust returning home. That's been my problem coming home from Europe, too.

In 1996 I passed through all of the time zones AND crossed the equator too:
Traveling east: flew from Houston to London; then on to Nairobi, Kenya. Did a 7-day photo safari, ending up in Tanzania. Boarded a cruise ship (MV Marco Polo) and sailed from Tanzania to Singapore. Spent a week in Singapore. Boarded a plane and flew (still east) from Singapore back to Houston, stopping in Los Angeles for an overnight.

Went to England from Victoria, western Canada, and from there to Croatia and there back home and on to New Zealand. New Zealand is exactly halfway round the world from England.

I went to the Dead Sea and Petra in Jordan earlier this year. I rec. this trip to everyone in the world at least once. Petra was on Indiana Jones it was even better in person of course. The Dead Sea really does hold you up you can't sink no matter how hard you try. The sun and minerals in the water cure psoriasis and helps vitiligo.
