I'm surprised on one picked up on this, yesterday's news and all that. Well,it seems an Apple employee left his iphone5 prototype (yes 5) in a bar in SF Mission District.

This is kinda bizarre in that its a repeat of last years fiasco. With JOb's paranoia about leaks, I'm astounded they are so caviler in letting these babies out of sight.

Search on it if interested, its been all over the 'net since yesterday.

Now that would be a rewarding job! But, I have no credentials in journalism, other than College Writing 101. No idea how to even get started in such a career but it sure sounds good.

Maybe Apple needs to have a new rule for its upper level employees... STAY OUT OF BARS WITH PROTOTYPE PHONES.

Sounds like a publicity stunt.

Well,the keystone cops are stumbling all over themselves. Looks they admit to accompanying Apple's goon squad in a questionable search of some dudes house. Looks like no warrant was obtained, and looks like the Apple goon squad entered the house unaccompanied to molest the perp.

No phone was found. No evidence of its existance either, no pics. The Apple cretins sure were looking for something. Wonder what it was.

Looks like Apple doesn't let a little thing like the US Constitution get in their way when they have lost one of their toys.

Great publicity for Apple. Amazed that the media would fall for this one a second year in a row.

The plot thickens.

Looks like there were accusations of Apple employees impersonating SF police detectives and searching a private citizen's home. This of course is a felony.

After it hit the fan earlier today, a new cover story emerged where SF detectives supposedly accompanied the Apple security team and stood by while the home was searched.

Who knows what the legal status is of such an adventure. But so far no iphone 5 has turned up.

Very embarrassing for both Apple and the SF police.

You're right; it is old news and maybe not accidental. {shrug}
