Synthetics for sure especially in the winter when mines parked outside. I notice that the valvetrain is nice and quiet during cold startups...no ticking sounds whatsoever unlike the dino stuff. That said, I always wait for the sales.

the cheapest. I use to use the most expensive gas thinking it would make my car perform better but it sounds and drives the same.

My current vehicle has a blend of natural/synthetic oil. In my prior vehicles I put only synthetic oil in. This cost me less over time because I could drive more mile between oil changes. I have made an effort to read about the latest research regarding oil life in newer vehicles and I have extended my oil changes between 5,000 and 7,000 miles with these new oil formulations. Saves me money!!
